This bride wanted a mix of modern with vintage for her wedding. So we started with King Plow Event Center for the venue which was an industrial, yet artsy look – Perfect for this brides vision!
The ceremony was in the front gallery with the fabulous artwork as the backdrop. The mirage chairs were exquisite as they allowed the guests to focus on the LUSH, nature inspired aisle treatment. The continuous flow of glass cylinders, pillar candles, lanterns, and vintage terra cotta pots filled with beautiful boxwood spheres, plants, and shrubs decorated the aisle. Spanish Moss, a favorite of the Mother of the Bride, surrounded the containers.
We used farm tables and mirage chairs for the reception which was a spectacular effect of modern and vintage. The linens in burlap, lace and khaki looked amazing with centerpieces made of plants under cloches, candles, old books and suitcases, along with birch tree logs. The bride and grooms table, made of acrylic, was a sight to see with an elegant mossy candelabra treatment inside.
The dessert bar was a hit! We hung yummy cupcakes in mason jar lids from an old farmhouse window above the dessert table. We had candles resting on the window panes for a nice glow. A beautiful tiered cake stand held mini cupcakes dressed with flavor flags and apple pie pops in terra cotta pots and cheesecake pops finished off the dessert bar display.
Our bride and groom walked down the red carpet while guests were waiving ribbon wands was a really fun send off! A vintage Bentley was waiting to whisk them off to their hotel but not before lighting a chinese lantern and sending if off into the sky in honor of a fabulous evening!
