The Party Girl Events team took to the media champaign for a great cause, finding a cure for opioid addiction! We were so honored to be apart of this informational media kickoff event!

 

The Historic Academy of Medicine was the perfect venue to welcome our VIP guests, press and guest speaker, celebrity Dr. Drew Pinsky! They were greeted by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) staff and enjoyed a breathtaking display of artisanal cheeses, biscuits and local jams created by Bold Catering & Design.

 

The guests heard from Georgia DBHDD commissioner, Judy Fitzgerald before Dr. Drew took to the stage informing an excited audience about Narcan, a relatively new opioid addiction prevention nasal spray. He did a fantastic job and concluded by taking several questions from the press and guests.

 

As everyone departed the event they were given a takeaway swag bag filled with informational material and several goodies to remind them of this important awareness!
