A fabulous local Roswell book club celebrated their 10 year anniversary in style – with a White Party!!  The mood was set with the invitation requesting guests to wear “all white” on this beautiful August night poolside at one of the members homes. We had so much fun creating this event with white feathers, white roses, white linens and accents of light silver.  As part of  this group of avid readers celebration they were inspired to collect books for “Books for Heroes” to give back to the community.

They collected books throughout the summer totaling over 2000 and raised funds to help offset the cost of shipping.  Guests were greeted with  a spectacular “Wall of Books” including book selections from the past 10 years, as they entered. George Scott, the founder of Books for Heroes attended along with Author William Alex Walker who donated signed copies of his latest book “Toltec” for the silent auction.  Talk of the Town Catering along with Southern Hive Entertainment partnered with us here atThe Party Girl Events to make this evening such a success!
